This journey from the beginning of the twentieth century recounts the attraction of the French capital above all else for certain Eastern European musicians such as Prokofiev, Enescu or Schulhoff. It is also a key period in musical history both for the potential of the flute as a virtuoso instrument and in the search for timbre, propelled by the ‘École Français’ and the artistic environment bursting with innovation.

A colourful programme!
